Meet some of the Lonnecshe Herd
We are a small, but growing alpaca farm just north of Coromandel in New Zealand.. Our herd is slowly growing with a range of coloured animals with good genetics, and as always there more on the way throughout the year.. We started with one a reliable, older no problems breeder 'Maple Leaf' and a lovely light fawn 'Ramona'. Since we brought the first two pregnant females in 2005 it has been a steep learning curve, and most people have been willing to contribute their time and knowledge freely which has been well recieved and has helped in the decision making process! Alpacas are a pleasure to have around and are easy to learn to take care of and manage.
Here are some of the crowd
I will attempt to list from most established to newest. Many of my cria have Peruvian names, their meanings are in brackets.
